Party Proposals

Momentum proposes a foreign policy approach that preserves Malta's constitutional neutrality while requiring Malta to more clearly and actively speak out against human rights violations and war crimes internationally. The party argues that neutrality does not preclude defending peace, security, and human rights on the world stage.

The Labour Party proposes introducing an air taxi service to connect Malta and Gozo. The initiative is presented as part of a wider set of proposals aimed at improving connectivity between the two islands.

Momentum proposes a new Foreign Service Act to professionalise Malta's diplomatic corps. Under the plan, entry into the foreign service would be based on competitive examinations rather than political appointments.
