Full tax exemption on income earned by families hosting foreign students

Measure 4 of PN's personal tax reform package announced on 7 May 2026. Income earned by Maltese families from hosting foreign students would be 100% exempt from personal income tax under a PN government. PN candidate David Pace Ross described the rationale as keeping ''the family nucleus together'' while supporting the education sector and the broader economy.
